City of Brampton Response to COVID-19
The City of Brampton takes COVID-19 seriously and continues to follow the advice of Peel Public Health. The City has made significant changes to services and programming to help protect the health and wellbeing of our community. All City facilities including City Hall, Civic Theatres, Recreation and Community Centres, and Brampton Library branches are CLOSED until, at least, April 5. All critical services, including Fire and Emergency Services, Brampton Transit, Traffic Services, By-Law Enforcement, Road Operations, Security Services, and Animal Services continue to operate to support our community.
Mayor's Business Support and Economic Recovery
Task Force
The City of Brampton has formed several Task Forces to support the community with the current challenges we are facing in the ever-changing COVID-19 pandemic. One of these Task Forces is the Mayor's Business Support and Economic Task Force, which is responsible for coordinating recommendations and measures to support business relief efforts in Brampton.
This group will be co-chaired by Regional Councillors Michael Palleschi and Paul Vicente. They will work with local stakeholders including the Downtown BIA, Brampton Board of Trade and the Black Chamber of Commerce.

, financially and otherwise, COVID-19 pandemic has had and/or is having on cultural industry business activity, events, and projects across the arts and culture sector.
