Council is aware of various ANZAC Day Dawn services being held across Cumberland City listed below, where we commemorate the service men and women that fought so bravely for our freedom in this great country, and to pay tribute to our fallen heroes as a community.

Ramadan Street Food Festival 2022 - Food Vendors Announced
Ramadan Street Food Festival 2022 unveils a huge line up of stallholders

The Ramadan Street Food Festival is gearing up for a return to Auburn with a select line up of over 15 food vendors that are sure to delight your taste buds. We invite you to wander through the street and sample the array of exotic foods including; African fusion food, pizza, Turkish kofte rolls, falafel and kebabs, vegan Egyptian street food, souvlaki wraps and more.

When: 6pm to 12 midnight on Saturday 23 April 2022.
Where: Auburn Town Centre, Auburn Road (between Mary and Beatrice Streets), Auburn.
Cost: Free entry. You decide what to spend at restaurants, stalls and trucks.

Council Committees EOI

Council is seeking expressions of interest from people interested in participating in one of our Advisory Committees.

Help provide advice and make recommendations to Council on key topics and matters central to our community.

Committees will meet quarterly and consist of community members and nominated Councillors. Committee members from the community are volunteers and are not remunerated for their time.

WestInvest Community Project Grants
Applications are now open for non-government organisations, charitable organisations, community groups and other organisations to apply for the WestInvest Community Project Grants.

This competitive round will provide $1.6 billion in funding for new and improved community facilities and local infrastructure across Western Sydney.

To apply, visit the NSW Government's website to complete the mandatory Registration of Interest Form (ROI) before 5pm on Thursday 21 April 2022.

Cumberland City Council's ClubGRANTS Scheme opens
Cumberland City Council’s ClubGRANTS scheme opens for applications this month to help fund not-for-profit organisations’ community projects.

Schools, local government and not-for-profit community based, plus incorporated organisations with an Australian Business Number (ABN) are welcome to apply.
 
The program works by allowing registered clubs with gaming machine profits of over $1 million to apply for a tax rebate (of 1.85%). The rebate is used to help fund projects in the areas of community welfare and social services, community development, community health services and employment assistance activities.
 
Applications close at 4pm on Thursday 28 April.

Granville Pools Survey
