You've heard about the Kansas Supreme Court ruling which took away our voice on abortion in Kansas.

You've learned about the 2 abortion laws already struck down

and the 20+ common sense laws that are now “presumed unconstitutional”.

You've been asked for prayers and attended Rosary Rallies.

You've attended presentations, read bulletin articles, handouts and pamphlets (and hopefully shared them!)

You've picked up hundreds of bumper magnets and yard signs - and replaced stolen ones.

Information about the 50+ Kansas organizations supporting women, men & babies have been displayed.

The coalition of Medical & Mental Health Professionals supporting the amendment has been highlighted.

The misleading ads from the opposition have been addressed, exposed and debunked.

Now, it’s your time to stand up for the most vulnerable:

the pre-born & families in need!

This vote will be won or lost on voter turn-out

so we must focus on encouraging everyone to go vote.

Please make it a priority to VOTE YES in advance voting or on August 2nd.

BSA Troop 395 Trash Bag Sales

Curé of Ars BSA Troop 395 will be selling trash bags throughout the year. Bags are $13 per roll. Sizes available: white: 15-gal (65/roll); yellow: 39-gal (25/roll); blue: 55-gal (16/roll). We also have paper yard waste bags at $5 per pack of 5 bags or 3 packs of 5 bags for $12. Please support this fundraiser to support this parish youth leadership program. In addition, you may contact Connie Martin at 913.548.5327 or martinc1961@aol.com to make multiple roll purchases. We accept cash, checks, and credit cards. Free delivery within Curé of Ars Church boundaries. Pick up can also be arranged.

Backpacks for KVC Foster Children

Curé of Ars is again sponsoring a school supplies drive for foster children at KVC. KVC is the organization that provides ongoing case-management, therapy, family education and support, transportation, and aftercare services impacting thousands of children and family members each day in Kansas.

Leading up to every new school year, KVC works to ensure that every child in its care is fully prepared to return to school. They request that all the items be new. The school supplies can be dropped off at the table in the church vestibule the week of July 25-31. If you would like to drop off gift certificates or cash to support the drive, there will be someone at a table in the vestibule Saturday, July 30 after Mass and after all Masses on July 31.

The Deacon White Prayer Corner

We plan to have Stephen Ministers available after all weekend Masses. If you would like to pray for yourself, your spouse, family member, friend, or co-worker who is experiencing a rough spot in life, Please stop by after Mass to experience God’s true love for you through prayer or a special blessing. During a time of need, or even a personal crisis, it can be so comforting to have someone to pray with you and for you. We will be located in the Chapel area in the North part of the church.

St. Mary's Food Kitchen

Curé of Ars has served a meal every month to the hungry at St. Mary's Food Kitchen for over 30 years. This ministry is a great service to those in need and a great opportunity for Curé parishioners to come together as a community. Cure of Ars serves approximately 350+ people every third Monday of each month. We need your help.

Volunteers leave the church at 7:30 am on the third Monday of each month to serve lunch to the hungry in Kansas City, Kansas. Volunteers are also needed to provide food items such as taco meat, shredded cheese, baked goods, and fresh fruit.
