Message from Father Storey
Curé of Ars News
Faith, Hope and Charity Campaign
Our Faith, Hope and Charity Campaign is making great progress and we are grateful to have reached over $7.782 million in pledges. We appreciate all of the responses we have received and hope to hear from all parishioners as to their intent, even if they are unable to give at this time, so that we can fulfill our goal of 100% participation.

The Design Build Team and Building Committee continues to make progress toward the February 10th construction start date. Sub-contractor bids for the construction packages will be due next week and Groundbreaking is scheduled for February 14th. There will be more details to follow about the agenda for the Groundbreaking.

Thank you to all of those who have already made a pledge commitment to the campaign. Please visit our website at www.cureofars.com/faith-hope-charity-campaign to keep current on the progress of the project with construction updates and pledge totals, complete your letter of intent, or set up payment processing for your pledge.
Thank you for your prayers and support.

Young Adult Service Project
Our new Curé Young Adults Group, for parishioners between the ages of 21 and 35, invites young adults to join us with our first service project: providing a meal for the Freedom Hoops program. Freedom Hoops is a faith-based basketball ministry that works with urban youth in Kansas City. Many of the underprivileged youth involved in Freedom Hoops are depending on the meal that we will provide. We will be serving tacos on Tuesday, February 11 . There are several opportunities for you to help: you can help cook on February 9 after the 6pm Mass, help serve on the evening of Tuesday, February 11, or help by donating food for the meal. Maybe you're even thinking that you'd like to help in all three of these areas! You can sign up to help at https://tinyurl.com/yxylocpq . If you have questions, please contact Renee Fietsam at  [email protected]  or 618.520.2962.

We need your help. Our next day to serve is February 17th.

Volunteers leave the church at 8:30 am to prepare and serve lunch to the hungry in Kansas City, Kansas.
