Mass and Lenten Series—Tuesdays of Lent, 6:30 pm
The Curé Evangelization Team is sponsoring a Lenten Faith Series. We will begin with Mass at 6:30 pm followed by a speaker in the church. The four sessions will be held on March 2, March 9, March 16, and March 23. Speakers will be announced at a later date.
Fast and Abstinence
Lent is a season of prayer, fasting, and service in preparation for Easter.
Fast—All Catholics ages 18 through 59 are bound by the Law of Fasting on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday: one full meal with 2 smaller meals not to equal one full meal.
Abstinence—All Catholics who are 14 years of age and older are bound by the Law of Abstinence: abstaining from meat on Ash Wednesday, all Fridays during Lent, and Good Friday.
Sacrament of Reconciliation
Parish Penance Service—Sunday, March 21, 3:00 pm
This is a great opportunity to make reconciliation a priority in your Lenten journey to Easter. Whether you haven’t received this sacrament in several weeks or 25 years, you will be welcomed with compassion as you receive the grace of forgiveness.
