JOURNEY: New Life in Christ
Curé of Ars is hosting our inaugural Journey Retreat for Men on February 3-4, 2024. This is not a full weekend retreat, we will be together for less than 30 hours (including sleep!). Over this relatively short time, you will build authentic community, fraternity, and understanding. This retreat is being organized by the Dads at Curé group and all men of the parish are invited to attend.
Charge your faith life.
Are you ready to take a deep dive into practical spirituality? To build authentic friendships with other great men in a remarkably short time? Your journey starts here. Take a little time to dive into prayer, camaraderie, and appreciation for the gifts we've all been freely given. Join us on Journey and enjoy a deeper experience of Curé of Ars going forward.

The Deacon White Prayer Corner
We plan to have Stephen Ministers available after all weekend Masses. If you would like to pray for yourself, your spouse, family member, friend, or co-worker who is experiencing a rough spot in life, Please stop by after Mass to experience God’s true love for you through prayer or a special blessing. During a time of need, or even a personal crisis, it can be so comforting to have someone to pray with you and for you. We will be located in the Chapel area in the North part of the church.

Our January Holy Hour is on January 6 and will span the time normally reserved for confessions on Saturdays. Throughout this time frame, multiple priests will be available to hear confessions. The Holy Hour begins at 2:30 pm with the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and then continues with time for silent meditation. At 3:00 pm the Knights of Columbus will lead the recitation of the Rosary. Our Holy Hour will conclude with the Benediction of the Most Blessed Sacrament. After the Holy Hour, we will offer the Anointing of the Sick to those desiring it.
We will also continue to have our Benediction and Holy Hour on the first Tuesday of each month at 6 pm. This month's Tuesday Holy Hour will be on January 2. We hope you and your family can join us.

Curé of Ars has served a meal every month to the hungry at St. Mary's Food Kitchen for over 30 years. This ministry is a great service to those in need and a great opportunity for Curé parishioners to come together as a community. Cure of Ars serves approximately 350+ people every third Monday of each month. We need your help.
Volunteers leave the church at 7:30 am on the third Monday of each month to serve lunch to the hungry in Kansas City, Kansas. Volunteers are also needed to provide food items such as taco meat, shredded cheese, baked goods, and fresh fruit.
