School of Religion Registration

Are you interested in enrolling your children in Catholic faith formation classes this academic year or do you know someone who is? Curé of Ars School of Religion (SOR) program exists to serve the parish community of families whose children attend a school outside of the Catholic school system. Our goal is to support parents as the primary educators of the Catholic faith by encouraging families toward a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and living out this relationship in their daily lives.

* Registration for the School of Religion (SOR) is open! All fees will remain the same as last year until August 24th: $50/student, maximum of $150/family. There are additional sacramental preparation fees for students who are in 2nd and 8th grades. Scholarships available upon request. Choir and Parish Pilgrimage

We are pleased to announce a choir and parish pilgrimage to Czech Republic (Prague), Austria and Germany on May 31-June 9, 2020. It has been 13 years since the choir’s tour to Rome, Italy and we are excited for this latest adventure. It is an wonderful itinerary presented by Peter’s Way Tours, an excellent company we used for the Rome trip. There will be an information meeting on Monday, July 8th. Curé Garage Sale

Don't forget to drop off donations for the Curé Garage Sale benefiting the Curé Choir. They will be accepting items this weekend, June 29 and 30, and next weekend, July 6 and 7. See below for times and restrictions.

St. Mary's Food Kitchen

Curé of Ars has served a meal every month to the hungry at St. Mary's Food Kitchen for over 30 years. This ministry is a great service to those in need and a great opportunity for Curé parishioners to come together as a community. Curé of Ars serves approximately 350+ people every third Monday of each month. We need your help. Our next day to serve is July 15th.

Volunteers leave the church at 8:30 am to prepare and serve lunch to the hungry in Kansas City, Kansas. Volunteers are also needed to provide food items such as taco meat, shredded cheese, baked goods, and fresh fruit. Called and Gifted Workshop

Registration will open to the non-parishioners on July 15th. We have had a lot of interest so please register soon!

Discover God’s Call for Your Life! God is calling you to a unique purpose in life, a work of love that only you can do. Discern your spiritual gifts and begin to discern God’s call. You have received gifts in Baptism and Confirmation through which God intends His love to reach others. Come and discover these gifts in you!
