Access to School Portal & Instructional Fees
Beginning Monday, August 15th, using your family login information, you will be able to access your family portal and pay 22-23 instructional fees. Additional details on accessing the portal and completing paperwork before Welcome Back Day will be sent prior to that week.
Uniform
Dennis Uniform provides our school clothing with official logos. Dennis is located at 6322 College Blvd, Overland Park, KS 66211. Please note some updates to the uniform policy:
- We will continue the policy of the Curé logo as optional for all K-4 student shirts.
- Logo shirts will be required for grades 5-8 by second semester. We realize you may need a bit of time to get them.
- We have removed the seasonal times for uniform shorts. As Kansas weather and in-school temperature can be unpredictable, this will now be a parent's decision on what days it is appropriate for shorts and which is appropriate for pants.
After-Care
Our After-School Care is open to all students PS3-8th who are in attendance all day at Curé of Ars. Hours are 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM on days that we are in school. There is no After-School Care on early dismissal days. Click HERE for more information.
Lunch Changes
As much as we all loved and appreciated the free lunch last year, this will not be continued for the 2022-2023 school year. Student school lunches will be $4.00 per meal. Students will still have the opportunity to purchase extra drinks and snacks a la carte. Payments can be made into your child's lunch account using the My Payments Plus website or app. Checks or cash can also be brought to the school office and should be made payable to Curé of Ars School with your child(ren)’s name in the memo.
GoGuardian
One of the security features we added this summer is the monitoring system GoGuardian. The suite allows teachers to monitor student behavior when online and prevents distractions and harmful content from getting to our students. Our students stay busy learning and creating by limiting distractions and harmful content. Teachers can stay focused on students’ needs and instruction since they know their students are protected. Teachers can also correct distracted or harmful behavior on the computer in real-time through the monitoring system. Students in 7th and 8th grade are asked to bring the device they will use at school to Welcome Back Night on August 23rd to have the program installed. Our Technology Director will be available for questions and installation.
