Joyful Anticipation in the Third Week of Advent
This Sunday marks the Third Sunday of Advent, also known as Gaudete Sunday, a time of joyful anticipation as we draw nearer to the celebration of Christ's birth. The rose candle on our Advent wreath reminds us of the hope and joy that Jesus brings into our lives. In the midst of the busy holiday season, let us pause to reflect on the gifts of peace and love that come from our faith. May this week be an opportunity for your family to share in the joy of giving, to offer kindness to others, and to prepare your hearts to welcome the Christ Child with great gladness.
As we celebrate this joyful season, I want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to our talented music teachers, Michelle Staub and Susan Grams, for their dedication and creativity in preparing our beautiful Christmas programs. Their hard work, passion, and love for music have been evident in every note sung and every melody played. Please join me in thanking Mrs. Staub and Mrs. Grams for sharing their gifts with our school community and for creating such a memorable experience for us all.
A special thank you to accompanists Kathleen Wynne, Tommy Wynne, and Church Choir leader, Ellen Tuttle.
Peace,
Natalie McDonough
