STREAM Night

Thank you for those of you who attending our STREAM Night this week! We have over 120 families present and enjoyed showing off some of our skills and talents in the areas of Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts and Math! A huge thank you to our staff for hosting this event, and congratulations to our 5 families who won our STREAM Night drawing. All families who participated were entered into a drawing Thursday morning. These families were able to choose one family game to take home and play. 

All students who participated in STREAM night will get their out of uniform (or PJ day) on Thursday, February 12th! 

Spring Conferences

Spring Conferences are just around the corner. These conferences are optional for families and based on teacher recommendations. Please be looking for communication from homeroom teachers on scheduling these conferences. If you would like to request a conference, please reach out to teachers individually. They will be responsible for managing their schedules.

Please note that our Talent show date has changed. We will be hosting our 4th - 8th grade Talent Show on Thursday, February 13th at 1:30 pm in the PAC.

Curé of Ars Foster Care Ministry

The Cure of Ars foster care ministry will be hosting a hygiene drive for foster kids Feb. 8-23rd.

Look for the bin to drop off items in the church vestibule. Items needed: shampoo and conditioner, products for textured hair, women’s and men’s deodorant, body wash, and body spray, combs and brushes and baby wipes. Questions ? Kristin McArthur kqmc@att.net or 816-719-4350

Curé Respect Life Ministry Committee

Are you interested in parish pro-life ministrie and desire to develop friendships with others who want to support pro-life endeavors? Send a note to respectlife@cureofars.com. Opportunities are available involving Walking with Moms in Need, joining a foster care community team to provide a meal to a family, prayer support including 40 Days for Life, Catholic hospice volunteering (Rosary, music therapy) and more. Volunteers are always needed! Please join the Cure’ Respect Life Ministry!

Miege 7th Grade Preview Day

Friday, February 28th 9:00am -12:00pm 

Are you interested in attending Bishop Miege High School? We invite and encourage any seventh grade student interested to attend our half-day preview day in February. Students will interact with Miege students, sit in on a class, tour the school and learn about all the great activities our school has to offer.
