DROP OFF AND PICK UP PROCEDURES 

Please carefully read the below drop off/pick up procedures for the 2023-2024 school year.  

• Family/Carpool designated drop-off and pick-up locations are still based on the youngest child.
• We ask that parents not walk their children into the building at drop-off
• Families whose youngest child is in PK3-K will pick up in the back of the school at pick at 3:20.
• Families whose youngest child is in 1-3 grade will pick up/drop off at the front of the school.
• Families whose youngest child is in 4-8 grade will pick up/drop off at the front of the church. 
• You must complete a liability waiver if your child walks home this year. This will need to be printed, signed, and returned to school before we can allow your child to walk home from school. Waiver can be found in the back of the Parent/Student handbook, or can be printed off here: Walker Liability Waiver 
• Walkers will stay with their classroom teachers until 3:33
• Family name plates will need to be DARK/LEGIBLE/ and VISIBLE with both the family last name and the youngest child's teacher name. These must be displayed on the car window so that they are visible to teachers loading students.

Back to School Nights:

1st - 4th

5th -8th

Location: Church

Date/Time: Thursday, August 31st 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

This is for Curé parents. We will begin in the church at 5:00pm. After a brief introduction, presentation from our Head of School and information from PTO and Curé Soireé, we will dismiss parents to their student’s homeroom classrooms. Here you will get detailed information about your classroom and how it is run. The event will be split up into three sessions for families with multiple students. This is a parent only event. 

1st-8th Sessions

Session 1: 5:20 - 5:35 Session 1: 5:30 - 5:45 

Session 2: 5:40 - 5:55 Session 2: 5:50 - 6:05 

Session 3: 6:10 - 6:25 

Aug 28: Back to School Night (Church): 1st-4th grade

Aug 31: Back to School Night (Church): 5-8th Grade

Sept 4: NO SCHOOL-Labor Day

Sept 5: Stock the Lounge Drop Off in Front of School

Sept 6: All School Mass 9:05

Sept 6: Early Release @ 2:45pm

Classroom Volunteer Opportunities

Thank you for those who signed up for volunteer opportunities. We are grateful for your energy and willingness to contribute.

• CAFETERIA - we need volunteers each and every day to help serve kids lunch. Two shifts are available daily. **There is a particular need for second-shift volunteers** https://www.timetosignup.com/cureofars/folder/10204
• STOCK THE LOUNGE – each grade level is asked to stock the staff lounge.

1.  ROOM PARENT – support our teachers by organizing holiday parties and sharing PTO updates. We request two room parents per classroom. This job is VERY easy and a minimal time commitment.
2.   LIBRARY - volunteer to help in the library time! Volunteer shifts are available for each classroom.
3.   HOLIDAY PARTIES – bring your helping hands to help host your classroom holiday party. Please only sign up for one party all year.

Welcome to Curé Signs

If you received a welcome to Curé of Ars sign in your yard, you are permitted to keep it. If you do not wish to do so, please drop signs off at the school on the exterior wall outside the front doors any Friday and they will be collected.
