We've noticed an increase in students wearing smart watches, especially Apple Watches, to school recently. In our technology policy, it states:
"If a student brings a cell phone and/or smart watch (e.g. Apple Watch) to school requiring cellular and/or wireless connectivity, it will be turned off and turned into the classroom teacher. Additionally, smart watches aren’t permitted during quizzes, exams, or tests".
Teachers have noticed students sending and receiving texts to and from parents during the school day. Please note that this is not allowed. If you need to communicate with your student during the day, please call the front office. We will relay any items or messages your student needs.
