SCHOOL NEWS

The Curé of Ars Technology Acceptable Use Policy for K-6 Grade and the Curé of Ars Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Technology Acceptable Use Policy for 7th & 8th Grade signature pages are due by next Friday, September 30th. If students have not turned in their policy by that time, then they will lose access to using the school's or their own technology. The Technology Policy & the signature pages can be found in the Student Handbook

In light of recent press discussions linking school uniforms and hazardous per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), we at DENNIS wanted to assure you and your school families that all the items we manufacture are PFAS-free.

We maintain strict adherence to all federal guidelines and test our products and fabrics according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, using yarn technology for fabric performance to avoid chemical finishes. The wellbeing of our customers and staff have always been priorities throughout our 100+ years of business, and we continue to focus on responsible manufacturing practices for the health and safety of our students and workers.

PTO News

Every family at Curé is a member of PTO. We count on all our parents to help with various activities and events during the year to make them run successfully. There are opportunities for everyone to get involved from your home or at the school including parents that work full or part time. If you have 30 minutes or want to commit more time we have a volunteer spot for you! There is no experience needed for any positions. Please browse TTSU and if you have any questions we would love to help.

Cafeteria

Cafeteria volunteers are needed! This is a great way to help and see your kids during the day. We need 3 volunteers a day please.

There are now two shifts per day. The first shift is 10:45am-12:15 and the second shift is 12:15-1:15. The first shift covers grades K-4 and the second shift covers grades 5-8. Sign up HERE!

Our 7th grade parents will stock the lounge October 4th. Please sign up HERE to bring an item or two. There are over 20 items still on the list.

We need library help! Volunteer during your child's library time. Sign up HERE.

Carnival

**SAVE THE DATE** Our school carnival is coming Friday evening, October 14th in the school parking lot. We will need a lot of volunteers for this amazing event. More details will be coming soon.

SPORTS and ORGANIZATIONS

CYO basketball is right around the corner for grades 4th-8th

Here are a couple of important dates to put on the calendar.

First, registration has officially started. Feel free to get registered! Go to cyojwa.org to sign up.

Last day to register for Cure will be midnight on Oct. 31st.

Tryout dates: Nov. 2nd, 3rd, 7th, and 8th. Each grade will only have tryouts one night. Exact day and time of each will be determined at a later date.
