MUSICAL!!: We are super excited to bring back a Curé of Ars Musical Production! This Spring COA will present Suessical the Musical! There have been some changes as this year auditions will be open to grades 6-8 and it is an audition only performance. What is great about this production is there are a lot of ensemble parts so no worries if you don’t get a solo! We also will have openings for stage crew, costumes, and tech. Auditions will be on November 14th with November 15th being call backs. We are inviting music teachers from outside of COA to help with auditions. 8th grade will have priority for principal parts. Look for more detailed information coming soon. Mrs. Michelle Staub will be the Director with Dr. West as Musical Directing support.
Parking: We have had several complaints from businesses that we are using their parking lots for student pick up. It is important that we respect our neighbors and their businesses. This is especially important for businesses like the Mission Road Animal Hospital, Planet Sub, Tropical Smoothie and Bravo Nails & Spa to have access to all of their parking spaces as they have limited parking for their clients. I have been called to a meeting next week with the Leawood Public Works Department about our parking issues. I strongly encourage families that have “walkers” to consider picking up your students at 3:38-3:40. By this time, there is no line and many of your kids will enjoy the social aspect!
