A Message from Principal Legler

Curé Families,

Next Sunday, 1/30 begins the kick-off for this year’s Catholic School’s Week! We will begin by inviting our students and staff to represent Curé of Ars Catholic School at the Sunday 10:30AM mass. We encourage your students to wear their uniforms to mass. This is only the beginning as we have a whole week of fun events and activities planned to celebrate our faith. Through these events, we will focus on the value Catholic education provides to our students and its contributions to the Church, local communities and the nation. NEW INFORMATION

FUND A NEED

CAFETERIA TABLES HAVE ARRIVED

THANK YOU to our Curé families for supporting our Curé Soirée Fund-A-Need. Your generosity has enabled us to purchase new tables for the cafeteria. They also convert to benches. They arrived on Tuesday and the students LOVE them. They are Curé red and make the cafeteria look great.

*Our old cafeteria tables are being donated to Holy Cross Catholic School in the Kansas City-St. Joseph Diocese.

NEW IPADS & CHROMEBOOKS

Another big Thank you for supporting Curé Soirée Fund-A-Need. New Ipads and Chromebooks are ready for our students and staff allowing us to keep our school current and continue to provide the best opportunities for our students. This is all thanks to your donations!

Boy Scouts Troop 395 Chili Lunch Fundraiser

Sunday, January 23, 2022, Noon - 2:00pm

Curé of Ars Cafeteria

Menu: Chili, Hot Dog, Cornbread, Dessert, and a Beverage

$7 per person or $25 per family (up to 5 people)

TO GO option available

Raffle tickets available $5 each or 3 for $12

(need not be present to win)

Sporting KC tickets, Boy Scout Summer Camp 2022, KC Chiefs football jersey, Tommy’s Express Car Wash Package, O’Neill’s Gift Card, RanchMart Merchant Basket, Hand-carved Boy Scout neckerchief slides.

Lunch and Raffle tickets available for purchase from any troop 395 Boy Scout or after all weekend masses thru January 23rd.

Knights of Columbus 9856 Free Throw Contest

Sunday January 23, 2022 at the Parish Activities Center

Girls and boys ages 9-14 (age on 1/1/2022)

Participants do not have to be from the school, parish, or play org. basketball.

Doors open at 1:00pm Competition starts at 1:15pm. Girls will start first then the boys.

Please bring completed entry form with you.
