Curé of Ars will no longer be requiring registration
to attend Mass.

|
The dispensation from the Sunday obligation to attend Mass remains in place. Those with higher vulnerability to the virus are strongly encouraged to take advantage of this dispensation and refrain from attending Mass.
-
PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND Mass if you
- are in a high-risk category or live with someone at high-risk;
- have an underlying health condition;
- feel it is more prudent to stay at home;
- are ill;
- are experiencing any virus symptoms;
- have recently been sick;
- have been exposed to someone with Covid-19 or Covid-19 symptoms
-
We will continue to offer daily Mass online Monday through Friday at 8:15 am and Weekend Mass online Saturday at 4 pm. You can watch these Masses any time on our website or Facebook page.
-
MASKS ARE REQUIRED to be worn prior to entering the church until leaving the church. See a video from the Archdiocese on receiving communion while wearing a mask HERE.
- Please maintain distance from other non-family attendees and avoid shaking hands or other close contact.
- Congregational singing is suspended to limit droplet dispersion and missals will not be available.
- Pews will be spaced to help maintain distance between attendees. Only sit in pews that are marked as available.
- Please consider the number of people in your family when selecting a pew. Smaller families should select the smaller pews, so larger families can be seated together in the larger pews.
- The Cry Room will be closed.
Masses are scheduled for the following times until further notice:
- Sunday at 8 am, 10 am, and 12 pm
-
Monday – Friday at 6:30 am and 8:15 am. (No in person Daily Masses August 24 – 28 due to the parking lot closure)

Faith, Hope and Charity Capital Campaign Update
|
|
Construction continues to wrap up as both the new middle school and new secure entry/administration have been turned over to the school and they have begun to move into the new spaces. Construction focus shifts to finishing the Parish Activity Center and site work such as the parking lot and sidewalks. The school entry and playground sidewalks are being re-done and asphalt and site entry work continues in the parking lot. Inside the Parish Activity Center, the wood floor top coats have gone on and are curing. All entry and window glazing is being finalized and we are nearing completion on the PAC.

Interested in Becoming Catholic?
|
|
Are you curious about the Catholic faith? Have you been baptized in another Christian faith but are interested in learning about the Catholic Church? Were you baptized a Catholic and perhaps even made your First Holy Communion but were never Confirmed?
If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, a warm welcome to you! The process of exploring the Catholic faith is called the RCIA and we would love to have you join us!
The Rite of Christian Initiation is a gradually deepening process of exploring how God may be calling a person to a life of faith, exploring the person of Jesus, and encountering him and his community of believers, the Church.
Within this community, those inquiring into the Catholic faith uncover the story of God's salvation for all: the mystery of Jesus' life, death, and resurrection. The working of the Holy Spirit is revealed in the beliefs, sacramental life, and spiritual practices of the Catholic Church.
RCIA is scheduled to begin in October. Those interested in participating are encouraged to fill out this form. We also are needing volunteers that help with Faith Formation. If you are interested in helping, please fill out this form.
If you would like to speak with Sister Rosie, our RCIA coordinator, please email her at srrosie@cureofars.com with your name and number and she will respond to you.

Every third Monday of each month, Curé of Ars provides lunch at St. Mary’s Food Kitchen. Prior to March 17, 2020, Curé of Ars parishioners would prepare and serve a hot meal that was enjoyed in the dining room; averaging between 350-400 meals served. Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, St. Mary’s had to switch from hot lunches to sack lunches. The number of lunches Curé of Ars now provides is approximately 750-875.
How can you help? We will be serving again September 21st. Please go online, https://cureofars.com/st-marys-food-kitchen to donate your food, water, time (help put together the lunch sacks), and/or give a monetary donation. We are also collecting reusable bags to help with distributing lunches. Please drop these reusable bags of at the church during collection on September 19 from 8:30 -9:30 am.
