| | | Curb Flow Brings Passengers Back into Black Taxis | | |
Curb, a leading mobility solutions provider committed to supporting black cab drivers and enhancing urban transportation, today announced that Curb Flow is partnering with Taxi Butler, HQ (Summit Quest) and GRiDD, bringing the total number of demand sources available to London cab drivers through a single platform to five
This driver-first platform aggregates ride requests from multiple sources into a single platform, enabling more metered trip opportunities directly to drivers and more consistent access to trips without needing to switch between systems.
"Most platforms have asked drivers to do more for less. We're asking the opposite, join our network, keep your full fare, and we'll keep adding partners that bring you more business," said Dorel Tamam, Vice President of the Mobile Business Unit at Curb.
Following a successful operation across several American cities, Curb Flow launched in London last month. The platform operates on a 0% commission model, meaning drivers retain the full fare from every metered trip, with full control over which demand sources they accept and no penalties or acceptance quotas.
Taxi Butler operates across the U.S., U.K., Europe, Australia, and beyond, connecting hotel and venue guests with drivers at the tap of a button, and has already driven strong results across major U.S. cities with Curb.

'Cautiously Optimistic': LIRR Unions, MTA Resume Talks on Day 3 of Strike
Negotiations are once again underway between the Metropolitan Transportation Authority and a coalition of five striking Long Island Rail Road unions. On Saturday, talks ground to a halt. By Sunday, the National Mediation Board stepped in, summoning management and workers to a meeting in Manhattan. The federal labor agency governs labor relations for railroads and airlines. Earlier on Sunday, New York Governor Kathy Hochul called for talks to resume to end the strike by LIRR unionized workers, which has shut down the Long Island Rail Road, North America's largest commuter rail system. The five unions represent about half its workforce, including engineers, signalmen and trainmen. The unions and the MTA have been negotiating for months on a new contract, with talks stalled over workers' salaries and healthcare premiums.

| | Bingo Unveils Micro EV for Africa’s Ride-Hailing Market | | |
California-based Bingo has unveiled a micro electric vehicle for Africa’s ride-hailing and delivery market.
The ‘Bingo E2’ is a four-seater L7e-class vehicle powered by a 31kWh battery alongside a secondary system made up of four swappable modules. Combined, the dual-battery setup delivers a claimed range of up to 310 miles.
Bingo has opened pre-orders for the vehicle ahead of planned production starting in Q3 2026, with initial deployments planned for Kenya and South Africa.
“The biggest current financial burden for workers driving used gas cars is the cost of gas and maintenance,” Bingo Chief Revenue Officer Alex Nesic told Zag Daily. “When adding up the gas, the car payment and the platform fee, drivers can end the day with $0 in actual earnings.”
Nesic said the three-metre-long Bingo E2 is designed to “shift the economics” for drivers, lowering the cost of operation with an extended range to boost take-home pay.
