Curbside Adoption & Virtual Talks

Greetings!

As we wrap up the summer, we wanted to reach out to our City Plants friends and neighbors to let you all know of the new and exciting events we have planned for the next several weeks. Beginning in September, our partners will host the first of a series of virtual talks to help our community learn more about the city's tree inventory and urban forestry programs. Learn more about the event and RVSP below. All are welcome!

You may be used to seeing City Plants partners hosting tree adoptions at local community events throughout the City of Los Angeles. In response to COVID-19, City Plants and TreePeople are offering a limited free fruit and shade tree "virtual adoption" on September 5th to bring trees straight to Angelenos living within specific areas of the city, thanks to our partnership with the LA Department of Water and Power. Must register to participate!

Now is a great time to dig your hands in the soil, create the memory of planting a new tree with your family, and stop to breathe some fresh backyard air.
