THE WAIT IS OVER!

dsny composting flyer.jpg

Curbside composting is back and YOU can be a part of it. Our office has partnered with the Department of Sanitation (DSNY), Bronx Community Board 8, Riverdale Neighborhood House, Riverdale Nature Preservancy, Bronx Council for Environmental Quality, and the Riverdale Y to bring information directly to you.

We will be hosting a presentation and sign-up event at the Riverdale Neighborhood House, 5521 Mosholu Ave, Bronx, NY 10471 this Sunday from 12PM-1PM.

See you there!

MOVING TOWARDS SUSTAINABILITY

Composting is a great move towards sustainability. This makes less waste go to landfills and instead be used to make the soil in our parks and gardens healthier. DSNY will provide ‘brown bins,’ which you can request when you sign-up.

The program is open to residential buildings of all sizes in our area. Apartment buildings with 10 or more units must have management approval. You can ask your building management or board members to sign up.
