2018 Top HAT Nominations Now Open!

We recently made the announcement that nominations for the 2018 Top HAT Awards Gala are NOW OPEN! Be sure to download our awards criteria form BEFORE you begin to save you time! We also have a new award in the Marketing category this year - " Best Social Media Campaign!"

Nominations close Friday, Sept. 14.
3rd Annual Bosque Chile Festival

Join in the celebration of the chile harvest on Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018 at the National Hispanic Cultural Center. Admission is $5. Children 5 and under are free.

This event will offer entertainment, kids’ activities, arts and crafts vendors, food trucks, beer, wine, agricultural workshops, chef demonstrations and more. New this year, the Chicharron Challenge featuring local restaurants firing up Disc It grills to make the best chichrrones in Bernalillo County!

Register now for the inaugural Ristra Run 5K Fun Run starting at 8 a.m. at the National Hispanic Cultural Center. Ristra Runners receive an event t-shirt and admission to the Bosque Chile Festival.

New Mexico Leadership Summit

Oasis Albuquerque and Central New Mexico Community College (CNM) are teaming up to host the first-ever New Mexico Leadership Summit on August 17, 2018. This all-day educational and inspirational event features seven national and local speakers. Catered lunch is included with a live performance by Hillary Smith and Chillhouse

Sandia Resort & Casino career fair

Sandia Resort & Casino will open its doors for walk-in interviews from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 16, 2018. The career fair – held in the Sandia Ballroom – will feature more than 50 open positions from Sandia Resort & Casino and other Pueblo of Sandia enterprises.

Sandia Resort & Casino is looking to fill positions in gaming operations, resort operations, security, transportation, accounting, food and beverage, marketing, as well as positions within the Pueblo of Sandia in tribal administration, tribal police and public works. There are full-time and part-time positions available, positions vary from salary to hourly.

Candidates should be prepared for interviews with department managers and bring copies of their resumes. Sandia Resort & Casino offers employees competitive pay, 401K contribution matching, medical and life insurance, paid time
