Current Development Projects
Reno Connect Development Projects is our effort to highlight proposed development projects in the City of Reno and provide information on how to provide feedback. For questions regarding these projects, please call or email the City of Reno staff contact assigned to each listed below. Public comment for these projects will be taken up to and during the scheduled public hearing. We encourage the public to offer their comments early to allow the project applicants time to address concerns.

For commenting agencies, please provide comments by May 12, 2021 unless otherwise noted. Projects requiring comments to be submitted sooner are marked with an asterisk.

The City of Reno Community Development Department received an application for a conditional use permit to allow for: 1) a concrete batch plant; and 2) operations between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. The ±3.4 acre site is located on the southwest corner of the intersection of Echo Avenue and Mount Anderson Street. The site has a Master Plan land use designation of Industrial (I) and is within the Industrial (I)zoning district.

The City of Reno Community Development Department received an application for: 1) a tentative map to develop 67 single-family detached dwelling units; and 2) a major site plan review for: a) cluster development; b) hillside development; c) grading resulting in cuts deeper than 20 feet and fills greater than ten feet in height; and d) grading that results in the disturbance of a major drainage way. The ±166.8 acre site, is composed of five parcels that are located north of the terminus of Sandestin Drive and ±450 north of the terminus of Peavine Pines Court. The site has a Master Plan land use designation of Parks Greenways and Open Space (PGOS) and Single Family Neighborhood (SF). The site is within the following zoning districts: Ventana Pointe Specific Plan District (SPD), Single Family Residential – three units per acre (SF3), Single Family Residential - five units per acre (SF5), and Parks, Greenways, and Open Space (PGOS).
