Current Development Projects

Reno Connect Development Projects is our effort to highlight proposed development projects in the City of Reno and provide information on how to provide feedback. For questions regarding these projects, please call or email the City of Reno staff contact assigned to each listed below. Public comment for these projects will be taken up to and during the scheduled public hearing. We encourage the public to offer their comments early to allow the project applicants time to address concerns.



For commenting agencies, please provide comments by August 25, 2026, unless otherwise noted. Projects requiring comments to be submitted sooner are marked with an asterisk.

Original Reno Exposition Arch Historic Resource Designation **

A request has been made for nomination of the original Reno Exposition Arch to be listed on the City of Reno Register of Historic Places and a corresponding zoning map amendment from Mixed-Use Downtown – Riverwalk District (MD-RD) to MD-RD with the Historic Landmark (HL) overlay zoning district. The arch is located on Lake Street between 1 S. Lake Street and 1 Museum Drive, ±190 feet north of Mill Street, and has a Master Plan land use designation of Downtown Mixed-Use (DT-MU).

The ±2.31-acre site is comprised of three parcels located on the east and west sides of Twin Lakes Drive, ±500 feet north of its intersection with West Fourth Street (301 & 620 Twin Lakes Drive). The subject site is zoned General Commercial (GC) and Mixed-Use Suburban (MS) and has a Master Plan land use designation of Suburban Mixed-Use (SMU). This application is being processed concurrently with a zoning map amendment on two of the three parcels from GC to MS.
