If you have ever been on the open water at night, in the midst of a storm, then you probably experienced the paralyzing power of fear. It's scary - you can't see anything in the darkness and you wonder who will help you. The last thing that you would do is get rid of your lifeboat. After all, if the ship goes down you can always get in the lifeboat. This Sunday we are going to examine a story - the amazing story of a shipwreck - where they actually cut the lifeboat loose.
