St. Timothy's News
Dear friends:
I include the above photo from our 1918 Service Record Book to remind you, we have been here before, and we are still here today.
As you have probably heard by now, Bishop Hollingsworth has directed all parishes in the Diocese to suspend all worship services and any unnecessary in-person gatherings for the foreseeable future.
What now?
Online Streams
The current plan is to offer a weekly service of Morning Prayer with music, streamed from our Chapel at 10am each Sunday.
For the time being, we are limited to using Facebook Live for this purpose, but we're looking into other possibilities. If you follow our page on Facebook HERE you will get alerts when we are streaming.

These services will also be available for viewing afterwards on our youtube channel, which can be found HERE.
Staying Connected
Candy and I developed a list of those in the parish who might need a little extra checking in on, and passed those names along to volunteers who will be calling to make sure they have what they need as far as food, medication, and personal hygiene products. I encourage you to do the same with your neighbors and those you know who have limited mobility.

There has been an understandable increase in people knocking on the church door who need help, so donations to our parish food pantry are most appreciated.
While I know it is a time of confusion and unease, we still have each other--at a safe distance--and we know that we are where we have always been: nestled in the palm of God's hand. We human beings never actually know what the future holds, and situations like the present one are stark reminders that this has been the case all along.
Though we do not know what the future holds, we know the One who holds the future.
Please continue to pray for our leaders and those who are sick or struggling. It will be some time before things get better, but things will get better.
I am always available by phone, e-mail, or text, so please be in touch and let me know how we can support one another.
Faithfully,
Fr. George
