Dear Friends in Christ:

CHRISTMAS OUTREACH

Our Christmas outreach looks a little different this year, but we are still partnering with the Salvation Army. You'll see a literal Angel Tree on the bulletin board in our parish hall, with children's names on tags next to it.

The process goes like this: You take a tag, buy the gifts on the tag for that child, then return the unwrapped gifts and the tag to the church by the Dec. 11th deadline.

At last count, there were 3 tags left, so you'll have to get a move on if you're interested in participating!

MASSILLON COMMUNITY CANDLELIGHT WALK, Dec. 3, 5pm-7:30pm

It is a true honor to be part of Massillon's annual Community Candlelight Walk. If the weather cooperates, we will likely welcome about 1,000 visitors into our sanctuary over the course of the evening. Our choir will sing a couple sets, our Rector will probably play a couple piano numbers, our city historian might deliver a talk or two about our historic building, and our cheerful volunteers will hand out cookies and cider to our happy visitors.

If you'd like to help distribute snacks that evening, please see Bob Schroeder.

ADVENT RECITAL SERIES

We've changed things up a bit this year for our recital series. Our weekly worship service will happen at the normal time (12:10pm), and the recitals will follow at 1pm, with a reception afterward. This year's guest organists are:

Dec. 6 Bill Kendrick

Dec. 13 Linda Hanna

Dec. 20 Mario Buchanan

DECEMBER MOVIE NIGHTS, at 7pm

Each week in December, we'll show a movie in our parish hall at 7pm. You can find more details HERE, or on the posters around the church. The lineup includes:

Wed. Dec. 6 A Christmas Carol, 1951.

Wed. Dec. 13 The Bishop's Wife, 1947

Wed. Dec. 20 The Holly and the Ivy, 1952

Fri. Dec. 29 Becket, 1964

CHRISTMAS POINSETTIAS

Our ECW is once again providing poinsettias to adorn our Altars for the Christmas Season. You can sponsor one (or more) as a dedication or memorial to loved ones or thanksgiving for the blessings of this life by filling out a form at church, or using the form at our website at this LINK.

Please us one form for each dedication, whether in person or online. The deadline for inclusion in the Christmas bulletin is December 18th.
