Region Nine and the City of New Ulm hosted a discussion on transitioning to clean energy led by Guido Wallraven, the technical director for the City of Saerbeck, Germany.

Saerbeck, an agricultural village of 7,139 people, produces 2x more electricity than they use from renewables like wind, solar, biogas, and hydrogen. Wallraven works with local stakeholders to develop ways to adapt to a changing climate.
