A Message from Pastor Tom...

For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord,

plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope.

Jeremiah 11:29

Those words of the Prophet Jeremiah have been a constant source of hope for people in transition. Graduation cards, notes of encouragement, and even expressions of sympathy build on the idea that in the midst of one’s life journey, God has a plan. Yet, those words were not spoken to an individual. The prophetic voice was for all of Israel. Today that prophetic voice must be heard and responded to in and through the Church. After all, the Church is the Body of Christ.

Our calling is unmistakable and crystal clear. Through the Church, Christ is present to the world. At Church of Four Seasons United Methodist, we undertake that calling with passion, energy, and faith. For each ministry we undertake, each act of compassion we offer, and each work of justice we pursue, Christ is present in our mission field. That is the essence of being a missional Church. That is the essence of Church of Four Seasons United Methodist.

A Special Thank You ……

I am deeply appreciative of the many ideas and possibilities raised during last Sunday’s listening session. Everyone who attended participated

and helped us all consider exciting new opportunities for spiritual growth,

ministries of service and compassion, and initiatives for children and families.

I hope that we will all continue to envision a bright and purposeful future for Church of Four Seasons United Methodist.

Winfield Township Foo d Pantry and Hebron Country Pantry need the following items: canned tomato soup, cream of chicken soup, canned ravioli (a kid favorite), boxed macaroni and cheese, Hamburger Helper, spaghetti pasta, gravy mix, and bathroom tissue. Your donations will help meet the needs of those in need in our community.
