Greetings Church Family,
WE ARE THE CHURCH!
Hebrews 10:24-25 says, “And let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

There are times when we need to receive encouragement from others, especially when our faith is being tested and/or difficulties come our way. Then there are times when we need to be the encouragers when others are going through the testing of their faith and/or trials. It’s a give and take. We can’t always give without receiving, and we can’t always receive without
giving.
|
|
This Sunday, right after worship, we are coming together to join in the conversation regarding the ministries of the church. We are starting fresh and new, with a clean slate.
- I invite you to be part of the conversation.
- I invite you to share your vision of the church.
- I invite you to pray about the ministries at the Church of Four Seasons.
We are moving forward to be the hands and feet of Jesus!

A big thank you to all who have contributed to the AED fund. We are still accepting donations but wanted to take a moment to thank those who have given so generously.
Update on the Church’s Insurance Claim - We listened to several presentations from various companies regarding bids on the repairs. After a long discussion, the trustees and church council opted for Hay’s and Sons. The initial claim for repairs from this year’s storm and a second claim was filed for damage from the previous year. Watch for more information regarding when repairs will begin. Click on the link above to review bids.
We are looking for volunteers to work in the community garden and the church’s landscaping. If interested, give the church a call.

Looking Back - Sharing a few memories
Email message from Beverly Sandquist
My husband and I joined the church in 1995 after being Lutherans all our life. Pastor Somers was the minister at that time, and he was such a Christian inspiration. We became very active in many activities in the church. After my husband, Sandy, died in 1999, I was so lonesome. I remembered in 2000, and I woke in the middle of the night thinking, "we should have single sisters." I went to Pastor Sommers the next day, and he agreed with me. We had 54 members, and we went out once a month to places women refrained from going by themself. It was fun.

Greetings!
For our Community dinner this month we are having spaghetti and meatballs, garlic bread, salad, and dessert.
We are asking for these donations:
~ Bagged Salad
~ Garlic bread loaves (kind you get in the freezer section)
~ Boxes of Spaghetti
Please have donations to the Church by Tuesday April 27.
Right now we will be serving
60 meals (15 families).
Thank you for your generosity as we continue with this outreach!
