he Youth Group has been meeting via zoom throughout the pandemic. There are two separate groups; the younger group meets on Sundays from 11:30-12:30, and the older group meets on Sundays from 12:30-1:30. They have just finished book studies by Sadie Robertson, Live Fearless and Live Original. Sadie wrote these two wonderfully insightful and inspiring books to help other teens (and as an adult, I got a lot out of it) navigate the world we live in. She shared many personal experiences, favorite scriptures relating to fear and anxiety, which are listed for reference in the back of the book and throughout the text. She reveals her vulnerability and mistakes that she has made to help others through their struggles, and she doesn’t care what the world thinks; she lives for God. So refreshing to read about a young lady with class and morals, and she isn’t afraid to proclaim it!
Comments from the Youth:
“I enjoyed this book a lot, it helped me grow in my faith, and I related to things she has been through. I recommend this book to anyone trying to grow their faith."
~Riley
"I thought that the book was awesome. It pointed out some things that I never thought about before. Not only did it make some good points, I feel that it helped me grow in my faith. There were a few parts that I had a harder time understanding, but after we talked about it, it was easier to understand.”

"I really liked the book and would definitely reread it. I recommend people read this book because it tells you her understandings and her life with God. I think this book brought me closer to God."
~Logan
“I think this is a great book for girls around my age (eleven years). It talks about how to be confident, never give up, and always be kind. It talks about friendship and some of Sadie's own life stories that readers can relate to. There are questions at the end of each chapter that allow the reader to really think about the good in others and the good in themselves. It provides inspiring bible verses to help through tough times, and best of all, it teaches us that we can still have fun while living according to God's will, and how to live by the fruit of the spirit.”
