It’s all about relationships and getting to know one another!

Last Sunday was our first Coffee Hour in the Agape Center right after Worship Service. I couldn’t talk with everyone last Sunday, and I apologize, but I had to leave early. I hope to be able to talk with more people this week. The conversations that I did have were very meaningful. If you haven’t joined us for Coffee Hour, this is your personal invitation to join us. We meet right after Worship on Sunday mornings.

This past Tuesday, there were seven of us who came together for the Craft/Hobby Time. Once again, we had some great discussion learning about one another, our backgrounds and how we came to be at Church of Four Seasons. We do have many talented people at COFS. I hope to have another time for us to meet and share our Crafts/Hobbies with one another. We learned a lot about each other during that time. We have added pictures in this Newsletter of our time together. Maybe you can guess who does what.

I cannot stress enough how important it is to get to know one another. As we get to know one another, we are better able to be the church. Please watch for more opportunities for fellowship, Bible Study, and much more in the near future.

Looking Back - Sharing memories

I remember many Fall Festivals with craft booths downstairs and donated treasures to sell upstairs. The Circle ladies made these wonderful turkey sandwiches that sold out. I don't remember how many turkeys we cooked. Some people came to the festival just for the turkey sandwiches. The top item listed on the lunch menu - Hot turkey sandwich $1.25

A message from Trustees

Now is the perfect time to plant a garden, and the church's garden is being prepared. Pat, our master gardener, is looking for people to donate vegetable plants. If you are eager to donate some veggies, drop the plants off at the church office, and we will make sure they get to Pat.
If anyone has any equipment left in the garage, such as lawnmowers, tools, or assorted stuff, Now is the time to claim it. The garage will be cleaned or organized very soon. If it's yours, come and get it!

Calling volunteers interested in hosting a church rummage sale on July 3rd from 8 am until 2 pm. This date was selected on account of Winfield's community garage sales the previous week. Hopefully, some of the people having garage sales will donate their leftover treasures to us, and we will have a larger inventory of items to sell. All donations are welcome- start your spring cleaning! If anyone is interested in picking up donations from people's houses or sorting items throughout the week, please let us know so we can contact you. We will not be pricing items; consumers can make a free-will donation when they leave. This will eliminate long lines of people and less contact. Thank you! Kathy Koval
