A Message from Pastor Tom...
A True Calling…

Pastors devote a significant amount of time preaching about God’s call in one’s life. There is nothing inherently wrong with that theme. Except, we often fail to mention that God calls communities not just a select few individuals. Scripture makes that clear. God chose a people to be messengers of God’s grace. The Church is the Body of Christ. Bringing Christ’s presence to the world. I fully believe that each community of faith has a special calling and a specific mission field to serve. What call has God placed on the heart of Church of Four Seasons? Why did God call a small group of women and men to found this Church? As we prepare for our listening session after service on July 25th, I am asking our Church family to prayerfully consider those questions. Let us look to our heritage for inspiration. And let us look to our future with our hearts open to God’s call.

Blessings,

Pastor Tom

Winfield Township Trustee Paulette Skinner is asking for community help in replenishing the food pantry. “In the summer donations for the Food Pantry are low, but there is still a need for food,” said Skinner. “Winfield’s Pantry needs the following items: canned tomato soup, cream of chicken soup, canned raviolis (a kid favorite), boxed macaroni and cheese, Hamburger Helper, spaghetti pasta, gravy mix, and bathroom tissue. Your donations help the Township and the Hebron Food Pantry meet the needs of those in need in the community. ” There will be a marked basket in the Narthex.
