Greetings Church Family,
There are times when life can be overwhelming. Especially when we receive unexpected news about our health; finances; or we can be overwhelmed just by watching the news. When the unexpected happens, or life becomes overwhelming, it can send us spiraling downward.
If you are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, tired, drained, or you feel like you have lost your joy, I invite you to go to our Church of Four Seasons’ Facebook page or go to our website and watch this week’s video called “Take a Break!” Take time to watch it whenever you need to take a short break from life. If you ever need to talk, my door is open.

Looking Back - Sharing a few memories - 04-11-2021 Mike Larson
I attended service online today. My wife Carole and I were part of the first small in home groups that grew to become the Church of Four Seasons United Methodist. As a charter member, I can't express how happy I am to see the love that still lives there. I know there aren't many of us left in the original group but we all share in the joy that brought us together through our service in Christ. Keep up the good work in his name. To God be the glory.

Please keep Gretchen Mercer in your thoughts and prayers. On Sunday, April 18, she will be participating in the Hustle Chicago Stair Climb. Gretchen has pledged to climb, 1128 stairs or the equivalent of 94 flights of stairs! The Hustle raises funds to benefit Respiratory Health Association, which offers lung health programs and education and advocates for cleaner air. Let's cheer her on!
May is right around the corner
Please join us Sunday, April 18, after service
Mother's Day is May 9. It’s more important than ever to bring joy, inspiration and share the comfort of faith. To honor the church's women for their commitment to faith and family, we will be creating a small gift for each of them. We will provide all the supplies; please bring your lunch to enjoy after service and before crafting.
Ministry Planning Meeting
Sunday, April 25 after service
Lunch will be provided.
God is counting on us to work together to fulfill his plan for Church of Four Seasons! To help us discern what God is planning, we need to meet. Whether you are a lifelong member, or if you have never stepped through the doors of this church, God is calling us to come together. We will discuss all the ministry areas and how we are going to move forward. Bring your ideas with you or simply sit in on the discussion. So we have enough food, please follow this link to R.S.V.P.
