Feral Hog Trap Loan Program

Sponsored by Caldwell-Travis Soil & Water Conservation District and GBRA

Texas Wildlife Services estimate that feral hogs cause approximately $500 million in damages in Texas each year. Caldwell County is no stranger to the damage feral hogs have on crops, soil, and water quality. To help landowners manage this invasive species, the Caldwell-Travis Soil & Water Conservation District is launching a Feral Hog Trap Loan Program.

This program will provide landowners access to Pig Brig Traps, helping to reduce hog populations and minimize damage. More information, including eligibility and participation guidelines, will be announced soon.
