After 10 months, the Port efficiently processed 8,655,489 TEUs, 2% more than last year. | | LA HARBOR COMMISSION APPROVES LANDMARK COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH SOUTH COAST AIR QUALITY MANAGEMENT DISTRICT | | The Los Angeles Board of Harbor Commissioners has unanimously approved an agreement with the South Coast Air Quality Management District (South Coast AQMD), Port of Los Angeles and Port of Long Beach to accelerate development and implementation of zero-emission technology and infrastructure at both ports. The meeting will include information on the ports’ 2024 emissions inventories, as well as a status update on the clean truck program, technology advancements and grants. | |
LA PORT AMENDS ONGOING ALTASEA LEASE AS OCEAN RESEARCH CAMPUS GROWS | | The Los Angeles harbor commission on Thursday, Nov. 6, unanimously approved amendments in the ongoing lease with AltaSea that extends some milestone dates and provides more flexibility for projects but does not change the total amount of the Port of L.A.’s overall financial commitment of about $36.6 million. | APM TERMINAL AT THE PORT OF LOS ANGELES IS MAKING THE TRANSITION TO ZERO EMISSIONS | | The APM Terminal at the Port of Los Angeles is making the transition away from fossil fuels cargo handling equipment, and over to zero emissions.
