CPR/AED Certificate Course

For those who need the CPR/AED certification for the upcoming Wilderness and Remote First Aid Course, there will be a course offered at John Knox Presbyterian Church (3233 West Ridge Road, Greece), Saturday, June 8th from 9 am to 1 pm. The course is limited to 12 students and the cost is $25.
Massawepie Trail Volunteers Needed

Who keeps the many miles of trails at Massawepie Scout Camps clear and open for Scouts to hike? Volunteers! And more volunteers are needed, especially in two areas: Short-term Boardwalk construction in a boggy area on Saturday, June 1st, and Longer-term Trail adopters, to maintain 1-3 miles of Massawepie trail on a regular basis. Merit Badge Days
April 27 - Radio Merit Badge

At the Scout Service Center in Rochester, we are offering a variety of different merit badges. All led by Counselors who are knowledgeable in their fields of study. These badges are not available at summer camp, so you will be introduced to new skills and hobbies, or even a new career! On April 27 th we are hosting Radio Merit Badge! Hosted by the Rochester Amateur Radio Association.
Free Week at Camp

Scouts who sell benefit from the Commission on every card sold. Well here is another opportunity for your Scout and Unit to benefit as well! The Top Selling Scout will receive a free week of Camp at a Seneca Waterways Council Summer program! There will be check-in points, and the Top Selling Scout at those dates will receive Free Camp & keep the commission! Need More Incentive? Units who are registered to sell cards will be entered into 3 drawings for a free week of Camp at a Seneca Waterways Council Summer program! Our third drawing will take place on April 16th.

Seneca Waterways Council needs your help – please let us know how you would like to help out with training leaders in our Council. Trainer? Logistics? Food? We’ve made it easy – just fill out our brief survey and join the fun!

FOS, or Friends of Scouting , is the Council’s annual giving campaign. Tax deductible donations go towards supporting adult leader training, youth recruitment initiatives, insurance coverage, support staff, camps, equipment, leader recognitions, administrative needs, AV supplies, a council website, scholarships, and so much more.

Rocket Blast Day
For Popcorn Top Sellers

Get ready to Blast Off! The top selling Scouts who filled an order sheet during the popcorn sale are invited to attend the Rocket Blast Day event, taking place Saturday April 27 th at J. Warren Cutler Scout Reservation. Check in opens at 8:00am and rocket launches begin at 9:00am. 
If you have not yet received your rocket prizes, please contact your District Executive. 

Youth Protection Course
As of March 1, 2019, the online Youth Protection Training Course was replaced with an updated version. If you have already completed the current Y01 Youth Protection Training you are not be affected. If you have't completed it you will need to start over and take the full course. Completions will not be recorded in  until you have completed all 3 modules and the certification test. To print your completion certificate, return to , select "Menu" then "My Dashboard." Your Youth Protection Training Certificate can be printed by selecting the printer icon in the "YPT Status" area.  Please cont act Chuck Arnold, Assistant Council Commissioner for Youth Protection at 585-469-1462 or  if you have any questions.
