Eagle Advancement Extension

 Beginning on February 1, 2019, youth 16 years of age or older, but not yet 18, who register as members of Scouts BSA on or before December 31, 2019 may request extensions to complete the Eagle Scout Award requirements after they turn 18 years of age.
Scouts in the Outfield!
June 15

Join us for the Dave Cheney Memorial Scout Night at Frontier Field. Cheer on the Red Wings while you celebrate Scouting! After the game and fireworks, Scouts/families can pitch a tent in the outfield to stay the night and watch a movie on the jumbo screen! The game also features the Zooperstars! Don't forget with each ticket comes a commemorative Scout Patch!
Pinewood Derbies Aren't Just for Cubs Anymore!
June 19

Here's your chance to test your design on the track! Race a Pinewood Derby Car in our first ever adult Pinewood Derby Tournament! Make your car or purchase one already built to race. Wilderness First Aid
June 21-22

Learn to understand and manage common medical illnesses and emergencies when more advanced care is not immediately available. The course combines presentations with active skills practice. Hands-on scenarios allow both Leaders and Scouts to experience emergencies in a realistic setting, and test their knowledge and skills.
Weird Science
June 24 - 27

This is an exciting evening camp that takes place over four nights from June 24 – June 27 at Durand Eastman Park. Open to all Cub Scouts - Lions through Arrow of Light. Each night consists of dinner, event stations focused on STEM, games, and fun! Registration is still open for the event!  
Platinum Units

An additional 11 units have recently achieved Platinum status in our 2019 Friends of Scouting campaign, bringing the total to 41 Platinum units overall. Seneca Waterways Council is pleased to extend free tent and/or lean-to camping, and free cloth rank advancement to them. Strong Scout Shop

Spring means more camping for families and Scouts of all ages!
Do you have the essentials for camping? From water bottles, compasses, first aid, lighting and comfort items, your camping experience will be so much better when you are prepared! We have so many new items including sleeping bags for the whole family, sleeping pads that take 15 breaths to inflate, headlamps, sunblock and more!
Youth Protection Course
As of March 1, 2019, the online Youth Protection Training Course was replaced with an updated version. If you have't completed it you will need to take the full course. Part-Time Service Desk Representative - I m mediate opening for a professional, reliable, customer-oriented, part time service counter representative, 20-24 hours per week. Must be willing to work afternoons and Saturdays (4 hours). Successful candidate will perform customer service counter work such as greeting visitors, answering telephones and directing calls and/or visitors to the appropriate individual, processing payments, data entry, and reconciliation of accounts. Camp Aquatics Director Opening - Cub Scout Adventure Camp is hiring for an Aquatics Director (Must be 21+, attend week long Camp School and have a current Lifeguard certification), and Lifeguards (must be 16+ and have a current lifeguard certification by June 30).
