These Committees are looking for volunteers:
Awards Committee
The Awards Committee is organized to solicit, review and recommend all NYWEA and WEF awards.
Humanitarian Assistance Committee
The Humanitarian Assistance Committee's mission is the coordination and promotion of humanitarian assistance activities, and to have NYWEA recognized for its assistance and opportunity to give back to society in financial and in-kind ways to those in need.
Public Outreach Committee
The committee's mission is to organize an increased public awareness and understanding of the importance of water quality management, and to promote NYWEA and the work of its members through education and outreach.
Residuals & Biosolids Committee
The mission of this committee is the coordination and promotion of the topic of residuals and biosolids in all facets of NYWEA activities.
Watershed Committee
This committee was created to respond to the increasing importance of watershed protection and non-point source water quality sustainment as well as to help in the coordination of the annual NYC Watershed Conference and Technical Symposium.
