UPDATE: Several parents have reached out to ask if siblings are allowed to register for Youth Guidance childcare during Curriculum Night. I have confirmed with Youth Guidance that yes, siblings are able to participate. YG has also confirmed that parents will not need to complete a special YG consent form for siblings as it is a one-time event.

Thursday, September 4th is Edison’s 2025-2026 in-person Curriculum Night! This year, families will begin the evening in the cafeteria and then move to their child's 1st period teacher. For kindergarten through 4th grade, this will be your child's homeroom teacher. Middle school families should follow the schedule below.

This year, parents should adhere to the following schedules:

Kindergarten - 4th Grade

5:30PM - 6:00PM: Presentation in cafeteria

6:00PM - 7:00PM: Presentation from homeroom teacher followed by Q & A

Kindergarten - Ms. Silvers, Room 110

1st Grade - Ms. Johnson, Room 106

2nd Grade - Mrs. Bowles, Room 123

3rd Grade - Mrs. Goldman, Room 127

4th Grade - Ms. DaRin, Room 217

Please note: Classroom presentations will start right at 6:00PM. Curriculum Night is not an open house format event. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide school tours during the event. For safety and security purposes, we ask that families adhere to the schedules provided.

Grades 5-8

5:30PM - 6:00PM: Presentation in cafeteria

6:00PM - 7:35PM: Presentations from core content area teachers followed by Q & A

Please Note:

• 7th Grade: Parents of 7th graders on the two-year algebra path should visit Mr. Strawn's room for the math portion. Parents of 7th graders on the one-year algebra path should visit Mrs. Shanahan's room. Please see the email Mr. Strawn will send next week to know which group your child is in.
• 8th Grade: Parents of 8th grade algebra students should visit Mrs. Shanahan's room. Parents of 8th grade geometry students should visit Mr. Strawn's room.

Join Youth Guidance for pizza and a movie while parents attend Curriculum Night! Reserve your spot now as space is limited to the first 40 students who register. The cost is $40 (includes pizza and childcare).
