Cushing News & Announcements

Learner Progress Updates

Prior to the winter break, we had sent families hard copy updates on their child/ren’s progress as a learner. The intention behind these updates was to provide families with targeted feedback and insight around their learner’s development during the current school year.

In order to help us in our ongoing efforts to effectively share feedback with families using tools such as the learner progress updates, we kindly request that you take a moment to complete this brief survey.

Should you encounter any difficulties accessing the survey through the embedded link, please try accessing it directly via this alternate link: https://tinyurl.com/mshp6dtz.

For reference, you may view a sample learner progress update here.

We thank you in advance for your participation and valuable feedback.

Winter Assessments

The Kettle Moraine School District is committed to continuous improvement and ensuring that the needs of all students are met. To achieve this, we conduct common, research-based screening assessments in math and reading using the Fastbridge tool at the beginning, middle, and end of each school year. The results of these assessments are used to guide teachers' instruction based on individual student needs and inform us of any specific areas where students may require additional support. By conducting screenings on a regular basis, teachers have multiple opportunities to adjust their instruction to meet the needs of their students.
