Message from Mrs. Rach

Here at Cushing, we have three big areas we focus on: Being Safe, Being Kind and Doing our Job.  This week we’ve spent time talking about what this looks like in our classrooms, hallways, the cafeteria and the playground…just to name a few areas.

This structure provides consistent expectations for students as well as opportunities for reinforcing and reteaching those expectations as needed.  We also have a system for acknowledging consistent positive behavior through positive connections and our Star Slips.  Supported by this framework, our goal is to equip students with routines and language that supports appropriate school behavior.

Updating Infinite Campus

Please be sure that your contact information in Infinite Campus is up to date.  If your address is incorrect, please call Jenny Godin or Kristi Feucht at the District Office (262-968-6300) to update it.  If your child is assigned a bus route, this update may also impact their bus route plan.

Cushing Family Directory

Click HERE to fill in the contact information you’d like included in this year’s Cushing Family Directory.  Our Family Directory (put together by our PTO) is a great resource for families to help with play date planning, car pools, and party invitations.

Please enter your information for EACH student every year, as the Directory is sorted by grade level and information is not carried over from previous years.

FUN FACT: The sooner families submit their information, the sooner the directory will be available. :)

Volunteer Applications

All adults need to fill out a Volunteer Application every school year.  These applications are required to volunteer in the classrooms, chaperone field trips, join your learner for lunch, help with PTO-sponsored events, etc.  Paper forms are in the Front Office.  You can also find the form HERE.  Please return completed forms to Mrs. Mirek.
