Message from Mrs. Rach
Teachers are always available to meet with families to discuss their child’s progress. While there is no set day for conferences, teachers will be organizing their own schedules for conferences via Sign Up Genius. Due to meetings and other conflicts, some teachers may have different times available. Please click on the Sign Up Genius links below if you would like to schedule a time to meet with your learner's teacher. If you would like to schedule an alternate time/day, please speak with your learner's teacher.

Also: Please complete this form to let our teachers know if you prefer meeting face to face at Cushing or virtual via Google Meet, as well as, what you’d like to discuss.

Veterans Day
Veterans Day is a time we remember and honor the men and women of our Armed Services. The staff and students at Cushing would like to honor current and past service members for Veterans Day. If you or a family member is/was a member of any service branch and would like to participate in our Veterans Day event at Cushing, please complete this form.

Third grade students will be singing at this event. Third grade parents are invited to attend. Additionally, any veteran who is a family member of a Cushing student (any grade level) is invited to attend along with one guest of the veteran's choice.

This event will take place on Veterans Day - Thursday, November 11th at 2:00pm in the Cushing gym. Please fill out this form to attach pictures of veterans in your family, whether they can attend or not. Thank you!

Design Lab
Our Design Lab will be starting soon!

Our Design Lab is a place for students to create, design, and build during their lunch recess. Students sign up with their teachers and may choose from a number of activities, including: building with the Rigamajig, kinetic sand, wooden blocks, Legos, Make & Take, robots, etc. There are a limited number of students participating at a time and they are responsible for cleaning up.

In order to make this possible, we are looking for parent volunteers to supervise a small group of students. Days and times are:

Tuesday: 1st & 2nd, 11:30 - 12:15
Tuesday: 5K, 12:15 - 12:55
Wednesday: 3rd, 11:05 - 11:45
Wednesday: 4th & 5th, 12:45 - 1:25

If you are able to volunteer for any amount of time, please email Holli Klatt, Library Media Specialist, at [email protected] or call 262-646-6700 ext 8118.

We will also gladly accept donations for the Design Lab or whole school STEM Challenges. Items can be brought in anytime and put in/near the Design Lab bin in the front lobby.
