Winter Staff Gift Giving Program-- orders due TODAY!
The time of year is here when we say THANK YOU to our teachers and staff! They have worked tirelessly to make the transition back to school year a smooth one, and they have succeeded. Their dedication both in person and virtually is outstanding!
The PTO is offering a Holiday Season Gift Card Program to say "Thank You & Happy Holidays" to all of our Cushing teachers, staff and bus drivers. Participation is optional.
How does the program work?
You make a monetary contribution to the teacher/staff members and bus driver of your choice. Your child’s gift is then combined with all other contributions for that particular staff member and the staff member will be presented with one BIG gift card to the stores of their choosing. The gift cards will be presented in a Thank You card that contains the names (NOT the amounts!) of all the families who contributed to the gift.
How do I participate?
This is a 2 STEP PROCESS:
STEP 1: Fill out the form. Please make sure to complete your family name (EXAMPLE: SMITH FAMILY) then select the teachers you'd like to give to and list the dollar amount (MUST be WHOLE dollar increments - no change please, $1, $3, $5, $10, $20, etc.).
Any amount is appreciated!
*Program runs through TODAY--Friday, December 4th*
Sentry Receipts
Classroom Contest!!! Collect Your Holiday Shopping Sentry Receipt!!
An easy way to help Cushing earn money is to collect your Sentry receipts while you shop for the holidays. This is also a fun way for your child's classroom to earn a prize! The classroom with the highest receipt totals for receipts dated between November 15 and January 15 will win the contest and earn a prize for their classroom! Each classroom will have a red holiday bag to collect their Sentry receipts.
Kwik Trip Car Wash
Kwik Trip ULTIMATE Car Wash orders are complete and have been delivered to students. Students and their families raised $1648 for the Cushing PTO.
Fall Book Fair
THANK YOU to the book fair committee (Karen Dalum, Ann Marie Eve, Melanie Grisar, Elizabeth Schoene, and Jessica Schultz) for their thoughtful and flexible thinking on how to make the fall book fair happen! A special thanks to Elizabeth Schoene and Melanie Grisar for all the volunteer hours they put in to check out every single book that was sold to students and staff!! Also, thank you to Mrs. Rach for helping the book fair committee with the flexibility to allow for an in-school book fair! We raised over 3,000 Scholastic Dollars to help fund the classroom libraries and put more books in our students’ hands!
