Message from Mrs. Rach
Happy Spring Break! Earlier this week we shared some ideas and activities students might consider trying over break. Some of these ideas included: playing outside, enjoying downtime, reading, creating/crafting something new and/or taking a trip to the local library. Whatever your break brings, I hope it is an enjoyable and a relaxing time for you and your family.

When we return from break, we will be offering a parent/guardian info night. This is an optional informational learning session focusing on literacy and technology skills. It will be held on March 30th from 5:30 - 6:30 in the Activity Center at Cushing. We look forward to connecting with families while we share more about these topics. It’s still not too late to provide feedback around this evening and future sessions; consider completing this SURVEY to provide input.
Cushing News & Announcements
Fifth Grade Families - Camp Edwards
We will be hosting an information night for our overnight trip to Camp Edwards on April 6th at 5pm at Cushing.  A parent/guardian of any fifth grader planning to attend the overnight trip must attend this informational meeting.  More details about this meeting and the trip will be forthcoming after our spring break.

Help Support a KM Family
We are lucky to have the Knight-Dean family (Aubree - 2nd Grade, Harry - 3rd Grade, Landon - 6th Grade, Sophia - 9th Grade) be part of our KM Family. Last June, their youngest sibling, Max, was diagnosed with Leukemia and is currently undergoing treatment that requires many days of hospital stays.

We have put together another Meal Train in hopes of helping them out through the rest of the school year. Meals can be dropped off at their home. Door Dash gift cards are also appreciated if cooking isn’t your strong suit. Click HERE for more information.

The meals are greatly appreciated during this difficult and hectic time. Thank you!

To support and learn more about Max's journey, follow the Mighty Max Knight's Fight Club group on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/557310598596227/

Lunch Menu Change
There is a change to the lunch choice on Wednesday, March 30. Instead of the Pepperoni Pizza option, we will be serving up Sausage Pizza.

Lost & Found
Students might not think they are missing anything, but by the looks of our Lost & Found - they are. We get new items daily. You never know what you may find. Stop by and check it out! Winter Hats & Gloves will be donated when we return from Spring Break.
