A Day in the Arts Highlight:
AT&T Performing Arts Center “Dance Zone”
Monday, August 31, 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM
Attention, all TikTokers! Let the music move you through Klyde Warren Park. On Monday, the AT&T Performing Arts Center is creating a “Dance Zone” on Hart Boulevard that encourages visitors to feel the beat and move their feet. Why walk when you can dance?
#RedAlertRESTART
Tuesday, September 1, 9 PM - 12 AM
Klyde Warren Park is proud to join its Dallas Arts District partners, and entertainment venues across the country, to raise public awareness for the RESTART Act. This bi-partisan legislation would provide economic relief to the live events industry, whose doors have been closed since the onset of Covid-19. Red lights will shine bright on Tuesday along Chase Promenade to signify the industry’s “red alert” emergency status and show support for congressional action.
Movies in the Park - THANK YOU!
Picnicking and social distancing in Klyde Warren Park! Thanks to everyone for following the rules and staying safe! Thanks also to AT&T Discovery District and Ultimate Outdoor Entertainment for sponsoring our free movies for the past two months: Smallfoot, Dolphin Tale, Crazy Rich Asians, The Blind Side and Selena.

Note that, to assist with crowd size, we are not advertising movie dates and showtimes. Please check www.klydewarrenpark.org for information about future movies, beginning in October.

MEET TRICIA DZINA

Meet Tricia Dzina, Executive Project Manager at Klyde Warren Park. Tricia officially joined the Park family after being asked to help out for a few weeks – and that was a year ago! Among her many tasks, which include managing databases and keeping the team organized, she never thought the hardest would be to photograph plaques on chairs, complete with a lovely background and good lighting. But she doesn’t mind, as one of her favorite things about the Park IS that lovely background!
Friends of Klyde Warren Park members sustain our grass, gardens and play areas, artistic performances, music, and everything else that makes this nationally admired public space so vibrant—and free for everyone. Thank you so much for your support, and we will see you in the Park!
