QR Code (an initialism for quick response code) tags are now a standard feature on all Snap2Close photoshoots. The purpose of supplying these is to provide you with a way to quickly market your property by using the QR codes to connect directly to your property websites.

Two primary applications are adding them to your printed marketing flyers and postcards, and to your for sale signs and riders.

When someone stops by your open house, your flyer will have a QR Code directly linked to your BRANDED property website which hosts higher resolution photos than the scaled down versions that appear on MLS, Redfin, Zillow, Realtor.com, etc. Plus, now they will have direct access to all of your visual media, such as videos, 3D Tours, etc.

People driving by your listing can scan the code with their cell phone and quickly view everything on your tour property website, including your name, email address and phone number!!

As many of you know, Zillow and Trulia seriously bury any links to videos and other media, and Redfin only allows one 3D Tours so visitors cannot view videos or other interactive media.

The simple solution to overcoming all of these obstacles is to upload your QR Code image linking your UNBRANDED Property Website as a photo on MLS. Voila, now your problem is solved. And, it is approved by ARMLS Section 8.23 Rules.

The QR Code is a wonderful tool for vacation rental sites as well. Now AirBnB, VRBO, HomeAway, etc. are no longer constrained by their software application rules. By adding a QR Code as an image, all viewers can immediately jump to your UNBRANDED Property Website to see higher quality images, videos, 3D tours and other interactive content.

So how does this work?

Our Silver, Gold and Platinum Package customers receive two CR Code images, one Unbranded and one Branded with links to the appropriate property website. We brand these to help you keep them better organized.

These QR Code images are large, 3000 pixels wide by 3726 pixels high at 72 pixels per inch with a file size of 375 kb and can be directly uploaded to ARMLS/FlexMLS. However, they are also large enough to be used for printing on your Flyers and Postcards, as well as outdoor signs.

The files are transparent .png files and located in your Files tab. We have uploaded the QR Code to the unbranded property website to your photo gallery, but unchecked the box so it won’t be displayed on your website. This allows you to quickly download it with your photos.

If you choose to add it to your Marketing Material, which we strongly recommend you do, you can download it from the Files Section and manually add it to your Images Section.  

This action allows you to easily drag and drop the image to your flyers and postcards documents. When you do this then please be sure to uncheck the box for “Display in Media”. That way you avoid any accidental branding on MLS.

The bottom line here is that the unbranded QR Code goes to ARMLS and the Branded QR Code is used for your marketing material, signs, posters and open houses.

New Zillow Survey

I know there are a lot of surveys by Realtor.com and Zillow, but thought I would share Zillow's latest news release.

Listings that also include a 3D home virtual tour or an interactive floor plan get 69% more page views and 80% more saves on Zillow. 

More page views and more saves means more homebuyers looking at your listing!!!

I know that many of you have bookmarked our old Customer Portal Login, but now it is time to move to our new Snap2Close ordering page on our website. It will speed up the whole process of scheduling.

One more closing thought! With our new system, payment is not required in advance. You can pay when you are ready to download your media!!!!
