CV SBDC joins other local influencers for the 10th Annual Shop to Stop Hunger Event to collect food and monetary donations to support the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank.

“We couldn’t do what we do at the Food Bank without committed supporters like those participating in this event. Over time, the impact of the Shop to Stop Hunger events has been significant. During the event’s 10-year history, our supporters have generated enough money and enough food to provide more than 690,000 meals for families in our service area we cover,” Michael McKee, CEO of Blue Ridge Area Food Bank. Learn more about the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank at brafb.org. The 5 participants along with their organizations and networks were able to fundraise and shop to provide over 74,000 meals to members of the local community!

The Fed, service providers and others want to understand the challenges relating to small businesses accessing credit, to ultimately benefit small businesses. We invite you to take this survey--it took one of our business owner advisors 11 minutes to complete. SBDC is an official survey partner and we’re trying to reach for-profit businesses currently in operation, those recently closed, and those about to launch. The Federal Reserve is collecting the responses. The survey closes on November 17, 2023.

We’re proud to amplify the voices of US small businesses. Questions? Contact Aaliyah Price at [email protected].
