Internship leads Rutgers graduate into the cybersecurity field
An internship at OmniSOC, a cybersecurity collaboration between Rutgers and four other Big Ten schools, inspired Rutgers graduate Jason Jacob to pursue a career in cybersecurity, where growing worker shortages are making it hard for IT departments to find good help. Now, Jacob is fighting cybercriminals full-time at his alma mater, working on OIT’s Incident Response Team while pursuing graduate degrees.
