NEW! AP Computer Science Classes this Fall
A special message for CCHS parents this summer . . .

Cypress Creek High School is offering computer science classes this fall that will unlock an entirely new future for students. In our modern world, it's no longer enough to learn how to use technology; it's foundational to learn what goes into building technology. No matter what career a student wants to pursue, a background in computer science will be relevant.

In our new classes, students will begin to create programs, games, and apps that can help their communities today! Whether they build a game for a younger sibling, create an app that keeps track of a family schedule, or make a webpage to organize a community event, your child will learn the basics of the technology that's changing the world. And we hope they'll be inspired to be major players in that change.

CCHS is offering these classes through regional partnerships with Code.org, a nonprofit dedicated to giving every K-12 student in the US the opportunity to learn computer science. This fall, we will offer AP Computer Science Principles for students - no computer science experience necessary. Encourage your child(ren) to sign up. This is an opportunity that will open up collaboration, creativity, and passion as students learn and build together!

Student Robert Potocki chose our high school for his Eagle Scout Project providing campus clean up and beautification. The 'Eagle Project' as it is referred to in the Boy Scouts is an opportunity for a scout to demonstrate leadership while benefiting his local community.

Athletics: Important Information for 2017-2018

2017-2018 Athletics Paperwork
The Sports Packet for 2017-2018 seasons will be available from the front office or the Athletic Training office in the gym 03-105J.  If you wish to print this document from home and take it to your private physician: 2017-2018 Athletics Paperwork

Every student-athlete will need to complete new paperwork for the academic 2017-18 school year.

Paperwork can be turned into the main office throughout the summer and the staff will place it into Coach Panas-Schuster's mailbox. Processing takes place throughout the summer. Recheck for necessary information and proper signatures in pen as the student-athlete will not be allowed to participate in any interscholastic activities until the documentation is completed correctly.

Fall sports start dates begin JULY 31st.  Questions regarding open gym opportunities and tryout information can be obtained by contacting the head coach for the sport.  A listing of Head Coaches and the sports by season is available on the Cypress Creek Website under Athletics/Team Directory or link: Head coaches
