As we near the halfway point of the first quarter, keep in mind that teachers will post Progress Report 1 grades by Wednesday and those reports will be posted to Skyward on September 13th. Students that need to submit missing assignments should do so immediately.

I would also like to remind our parents and guardians that it is very important to submit the annual parent consent forms, particularly as they relate to the student use of health services and the school clinic. This is critical to have updated in the event of any medical emergency.

Please read below for much more information about upcoming celebrations and events at Cypress Creek High School. Happy September!

Nemours Mobile Clinic:

Friday's Motivational Moment!

As we are now at the mid point of this first nine-week quarter and that we have a big football game vs. Windermere this evening, we chose to run this insightful poem as a reminder about goal setting for all of our Bears.

GOALS IN LIFE

When I think of what it is that sets some of us apart,

I think that goals in life must be the place to start.

Imagine playing football on an unmarked field of green,

Not a goal line to be sought, not a goal post to be seen.

It would be an aimless battle were there nothing to be gained,

Not a thing to strive for, not a score to be obtained.

We must have purpose in our lives for the flame that warms the soul

is an ever lasting vision; so every person must have their goals.
