Student Google Classroom Access Update

We are aware that some students are experiencing issues accessing their Aristoi email or Google Classroom accounts. Our IT team is actively working through a backlog of account-related requests and expects these issues to be resolved soon.



Teachers have been asked to extend applicable deadlines for students who are unable to access Google Classroom due to these account issues. We appreciate your patience and understanding as our IT team works to get everyone fully connected for the new school year.

Drama Club Information Meeting

The Aristoi Player will be hosting a Drama Club Informational Meeting on Monday, August 24th, with auditions for the winter production of "Little Women," on Thursday, August 27th.

Callbacks will be Monday, August 31st. 

All events will take place in the logic/rhetoric choir/theater room from 3:20 PM-5:00 PM.

Fencing Club Registration is Open

Aristoi Classical Academy - Cypress is officially starting Fencing Clubs for the 2026 - 2027 Academic Year. Please know spots are limited. The club will run by semester and will be held on Thursday afternoons in Room 181. There will be a grammar school group and a logic school group. Should there be enough interest in a rhetoric school group, a second day may be added to the calendar.  Classes for this first semester will begin on Thursday, September 3 with Coach Caroline.  

13 weeks of classes:

September 3/10/17/24

October 1/8/15/22/29

November 5/12/19

December 3/ (10 make-up date)

Total $325.00 for the semester

This fee covers gear and foil for the semester.  

Fall Tennis Club Registration Now Open!

We are excited to offer Fall Tennis Club for students this semester! Whether your child is new to tennis or looking to improve their skills, this is a great opportunity to learn from an experienced coach in a fun and encouraging environment.

Program Details:

• Dates: September 21 through November 11 (8 weeks)
• Practice Day: Mondays or Wednesdays at 4:30 p.m.
• Location: Steeplechase Community Center, 11250 Steeple Way Blvd, Houston, TX 77065
• Cost: $112 per student for 8 tennis lessons
• Coach: Rod Royer

Lunch Visitors

We understand you are anxious to have lunch with your child; however, our Griffins are still learning their new lunchtime procedures and getting comfortable with their daily routines

For now, we are not accepting lunch visitors so our scholars and staff have time to settle in.

Our goal is to begin welcoming lunch visitors after Labor Day. Families should watch for additional information from the campus before planning a lunch visit. Thank you for your patience as we help our Griffins start the year strong!

As we mark the 25th anniversary of 9/11 and America's 250th birthday, we will come together to honor those we lost, remember the heroes who served, and strengthen our community through meaningful acts of service.

Bring your family, invite friends, and join us for this special day of remembrance and unity. A 9/11 Day of Service Choir will perform, and all who enjoy singing are welcome to participate.

6th Grade Parade of the Idioms

September 4, 2026 

The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster is full of clever wordplay, puns, and funny idioms. In honor of our summer reading, 6th-grade scholars are invited to come dressed as one of their favorite idioms on Friday, September 4 at 9:30 AM!

Some examples include, but are not limited to:

• “He/She is a smart cookie!”
• “That will happen when pigs fly!”
• “It’s raining cats and dogs!”
• “You wear your heart on your sleeve!”

This is an optional activity, and scholars will have the opportunity to model their idioms during a Grand Parade through the halls of the school and outside for friends and family. Parents and family members are invited to join us!

Immunization Requirements – 2026–2027 School Year

Please review Texas school immunization requirements to ensure your child is compliant for the 2026–2027 school year. Required vaccines include 7th-grade Tdap and Meningococcal.

If your student requires immunizations, please submit an updated shot record or a notarized Exemption Affidavit to Student Care by August 13, 2026 (first day of school).

What's Going on in ACBC?

• GREAT JOB ALL ATHLETES AT TRYOUTS - flexibility and perseverance were displayed as we all figure out the new year, and welcomed many new 5th graders to the program, and ACBC was impressed by the turnout and everyone’s great attitudes and efforts. 

Virtual Meet the Booster Club

Aristoi Cypress Booster Club ("ACBC") will host two virtual "Meet Booster Club" events - these short, informative meetings will take place on the Microsoft Teams platform (similar to Zoom). One will be hosted during the lunch hour and one will be hosted in the evening. All Aristoi Cypress parents/guardians are invited to attend the meeting to say hi to familiar faces, meet new parents, and hear about what Booster Club has in store for the year! 

ACBC hopes this opportunity will help busy parents learn more at a time that suits their schedule.
